The Republic of Korea's Lee Hong-gu goes up against Tseng Lung-hui of Taipei (TPE) in the other quarterfinal clash. Lee shaved James Paul Browne (GBR), 108-103 in the 1-8 elimination round and Tseng schooled Japan's Yoshida Nobuji, 106-98.
Still other quarterfinal matches will spotlight Turkey's Ozgur Ozen who will take on Jung Young-joo (KOR) and Italian Marco Vitale will play Piotr Sawicki of Poland (POL).

The collision between the defending Paralympic champion Imrich Lyocsa of Slovakia (SVK) and China's Chen Yegang is expected to be the highlight of this category.
Lycosa trumped Hasegawa Takahiro (JPN), 100-94, in the 1-8 elimination round, while Chen hedged Ukraine's (UKR) Yuriy Kopiy, 100-94.
China's Dong Zhi will compete against Mongolia's Baatarjav Dambadondog (MGL) in the other quarterfinal. Dong beat Tomasz Lezanski (POL), 108-102 in the 1-8 elimination round and Dambadondog clobbered Mick Beard (GBR), 104-91.

Top seed Xiao Yanhong (CHN) is slated to encounter Japan's Saitoh Ayako in the quarterfinal. Xiao dissolved Maria Droste (GER), 91-66, in the 1-8 elimination round.
