(BEIJING, September 13) -- Defending Paralympic champion John Cavanagh of Great Britain is slated to lock horns with World record holder Jeff Fabry of the United States in the semifinal. The clash is expected to be the highlight of the morning session at the Olympic Green Archery Field on Sunday.
Men's Individual Recurve - Standing
Top seeded Mario Esposito of Germany is slated to take on Fabrice Meunier of France in the first semifinal.
Esposito beat Miguel Juan Zarzuela of Spain and Meuiner beat Sakon Inkaew of Thailand in the quarterfinals. Where as China's Chen Yegang will play Baatarjav Dambadondog of Mongolia in the other semifinal in this category.
Chen outshot defending Paralympic champion Imrich Lyocsa of Slovakia in the quarterfinal and Dambadondog beat Dong Zhi of China in the other quarterfinal.
The gold medal, as well as the bronze medal matches will take place on Sunday.

Kinnunen beat Norbert Murphy of Canada and Drahoninsky beat Robert Lehner of Swizerland in the quarterfinal.

China's Cheng Changjie will play Ozgur Ozen of Turkey in the first semifinal.
Cheng beat Stephane Gilbert of France in the quarterfinal and Ozen outplayed Jung Young-joo of the Republic of Korea in the other quarterfinal.
Italy's Marco Vitale will take on Tseng Lung-hui of Chinese Taipei in the semifinal.
Vitale beat Piotr Sawicki of Poland in the quarterfinal, where as Tseng beat Republic of Korea's Lee Hong-gu in the other quarterfinal clash on Friday.
